At the offeratory during Mass I experienced a child's version of the Widow's Mite. In a village suffering from hunger a little girl brought up an ear of corn to put in the collection.
The photos below show the congregation in Katire, boys on the left, girls on the right (with a closeup), and the two waterfalls along the small river that passes through the village.

Father Herald, bless! I only recently became aware that you had left Honduras and are in Sudan. Great work, great blog.
