Just for the sake of beauty I include the final photo of a vine climbing up the trunk of a burned out tree in a mango grove near the river. The contrast of color and stark, elegant beauty caught my eye even from a distance.

Raising the Roof at Mercy House
Progress continues on the House of Mercy. We're now at the point of dismantling the old roof in order to reinforce the upper walls, construct new trusses and attach new metal roofing. Mercy House will soon be able to offer a dry refuge in the midst of the often heavy downpours of the rainy season.
Just for the sake of beauty I include the final photo of a vine climbing up the trunk of a burned out tree in a mango grove near the river. The contrast of color and stark, elegant beauty caught my eye even from a distance.
