Additional Photos from the Silver Jubilee

Below are a few more photos from the Diocese of Torit's Silver Jubilee celebrations, which took place in early December. As I mentioned, my camera disappeared after the events were over, and so I lost all my photos and have had to depend on friends to share theirs with me. These were taken by Fr. Sergio Johntin Lokang of the Institute of the Incarnate Word, a missionary society of priests begun in Argentina. Fr. Johntin is from Torit, and the Incarnate Word Fathers have collaborated with the diocese in the past. They have a mission in Lodwar, Kenya, not far from the border of Sudan. The first two photos are from the Way of the Cross that processed through the streets of Torit on Saturday, December 6. The last two are from the Masses on Sunday, December 7, and Monday, December 8, respectively.
