Pentecost Novena to the Holy Spirit for Upcoming Mission Trip

The Ascension.

Please join our youth in Torit and the members of the visiting mission team who will arrive next week in praying the novena to the Holy Spirit from the Friday after Ascension (tomorrow) until the Saturday before Pentecost using the prayers below. The intention is for God's blessing, protection and provision for our efforts. This is the Great Novena of the Church that recalls the nine days of prayer the Blessed Virgin Mary and the Apostles and other disciples spent in the Upper Room awaiting the coming of the Holy Spirit in fulfillment of the promise of Jesus. 

Litany of the Holy Spirit

Jesus, Eternal Son of the Father,
Redeemer of the world, save us.
Spirit of the Father and the Son,
boundless life of both, sanctify us.

Amen.
